Welcome 2023
What to write when you have so much to say!? I am passionate about this place so I will try and keep it all manageable. I posted quite a heart on the sleeve NYs Instagram “thing”… I got a little nervous posting such personal stuff until I remembered that we all love “real” maybe because it gives us permission to be ourselves when we see others doing so.
What is definitely real is that when you come and visit us there is so much stillness. Simple, divine stillness. The gift of space, time and nature.
I like using that time to watch the day dissolve and the tides rise and fall. I once had a 13 year old visitor come offshore who was shocked to “see all the water gone” several hours after arriving at high tide… he had never observed a tide. Plenty of gaming but never a tide. The oceans breath. How does that happen?
Anyway - I digress - our current guest Aimee actually stated that “she got a tear in her eye at how beautiful it is here”. May many more of you be moved like Aimee closer to this beautiful tenderness that we all have but often can’t give enough airtime to. - Happy New Year all!
